A reminder before your trial ends
A 14-day trial ends quietly if nobody is watching the date. Two things now make sure someone is.
A week before the trial ends, Stripe emails a reminder to the address used at checkout. That email has always gone out; we have now confirmed it on a live trial, seven days before the end, so we can say so here.
Then, for the last three days, owners and admins of the firm see a banner at the top of the app: "Your trial ends on 17 Oct 2026. Without a payment method on file, you'll go back to Free then." It links to Billing and has a close button. Closing it hides it in that browser; the same person on another device sees it again, on purpose, because a reminder dismissed once from a phone is not much of a reminder. The date is written in your own date format. Members who aren't owners or admins never see it, and neither does a firm that has already chosen not to continue.
Nothing on the banner says you will be charged, because without a card on file you won't be: the firm goes back to Free, and you can upgrade again whenever you like.
